Racing career

Having competed in motor racing since 1994 at just 19 years old, Ben went on to finish third overall in Formula Vauxhall Junior in 1995 with two wins and eight podiums taking him there.

Rising through the ranks, he honed his craft in Formula Three, showcasing his raw talent and determination on circuits around the world.

Collins’s prowess behind the wheel led to notable successes in endurance racing, including memorable appearances at the revered 24 Hours of Le Mans.

His versatility is made crystal clear as he shifts between various racing disciplines, making a lasting impression in each one.

Ben Collins’ passion for cars and speed brought him an incredible opportunity – working on Top Gear as the Stig.

Prior to this, Collins worked with the show providing drivers and driving services. During his time on Top Gear, Ben brought a unique blend of skill, charisma, mystery and automotive expertise to the forefront of the iconic television series.

As the Stig, Collins became a symbol of speed and precision, thrilling audiences with his incredible driving abilities and daring stunts. His silent yet commanding presence added an air of intrigue to the show, captivating viewers and fuelling speculation about his true identity. Collins went on to be the Stig for 7 years.

Stunt Driving
